Michal Oshman, Learning and Development at Facebook, London.

For the past 1.5 years, Michal Oshman has been leading Facebook’s leadership and learning initiative in their London and Tel Aviv offices. Her work focus includes: generating well being at Facebook, bringing Facebook’s culture to practice through leadership & management training, coaching engineers on work life integration, and supporting people in their self-awareness development in the workplace. Michal’s active in Facebook’s women leadership movement — including adapting messages & guidance from Sheryl Sandberg’s ‘Lean In’– and coaching women individually. Before joining Facebook, Michal was HR director for Freud Communications, a leading PR & Communication Agency in the UK. Prior to that, Michal held interim roles in Danone UK, eBay UK and Ogilvy & Mather UK. Michal is passionate about using psychodynamic methodology to help individuals, teams and organizations. She coaches and guides self-awareness development to facilitate empathy and ┬ápersonal growth. In between juggling her fast-paced job and finding time to be a wife and mom to three kids, Michal is focused on maintaining happiness, meaning and wellbeing. Michal earned an MA in Organizational Sociology from Haifa University and an MA from the Tavistock Clinic in London.
